This book isn’t a typical CBT book in the sense it focuses on thoughts, feelings, sensations and actions.

However, it is a useful and practical book for  parents, family members, teachers and therapists.  It provides a variety of strategies to help children become happier and healthier. It helps a child gently recognise and deal with their emotions so they feel more in control over how they feel and how they respond to the world. The book explains what happens to the brain when children feel strong emotions and gives a clear 12 point strategy  so everyone can easily follow what to do and get back to enjoying life and each other.
