The Feeling Good Handbook
Difficulties such as procrastination, perfectionism and worries about death aren’t often written about in self help CBT books but Dr Burns explains them and helps you to work through these areas. I really like the chapters on relationships and communication because they teach you skills on surviving difficult people, working around them whilst improving your assertiveness. I have to confess that I have an old version of this book from 1999, but as far as I’m aware there are only small differences between the old book and the newer editions. It is such a good book to use whenever you need to boost your wellbeing or are facing difficulties.
He also has a website called Feeling Good. Have a look so you can get a feel of what his book will be like. https://feelinggood.com
